Founded in Hong Kong by Roger, Himal Echo stems from his personal journey seeking inner peace amidst the hustle and bustle of modern city life. During this process, Roger had the privilege of studying under the Indian teacher Banjara Akash, who taught him in the evenings that true healing often begins with simplicity, presence, and a return to one's true self.
Among these ancient traditions, one custom stands out: the healing resonance of handcrafted singing bowls. For centuries, Nepalese artisans have meticulously handcrafted singing bowls, passing down their skills through generations. From full-moon bowls and black-gold bowls to intricately carved pieces, each work embodies the wisdom, patience, and exquisite craftsmanship of Nepalese traditional culture.
Unlike mass-produced products, each bowl possesses its own texture, character, and voice.
The making of a singing bowl is itself a meditation in craftsmanship.
Metal is heated, hammered, shaped, and tuned repeatedly by skilled artisans. Every strike requires precision, patience, and years of experience. Every mark tells a story. The finished bowl is not merely an object—it is a living expression of dedication, tradition, and human artistry.
